How a loop works (in plain English)
An insulated cable loop embedded in the pavement forms an inductor. A small AC signal from the loop detector energises the loop; metal in a vehicle changes the loop’s inductance and the detector registers a presence.
You can configure it to provide a presence output (while a vehicle is over the loop) or a pulse output (on entry/exit), with adjustable sensitivity and frequency to avoid cross‑talk with nearby loops.
