A Typical System description
- Standalone Traffic Management System to control vehicular movements for both vehicle parking via a car stacking system, SRV/MRV to a delivery dock & vehicle bays.
- The control system comprises of a PLC controller, programmed to effectively manage traffic movements across a range of scenarios.
- The system employs of a series of overhead virtual loop modules monitoring vehicle movements and strategically located traffic lights & pedestrian warning strobes.
- The loading dock may also be equipped with a turntable for MRV deliveries & bays for SRV delivery vehicles.
- Some systems may also have an on-site loading dock manager responsible for the management of the loading dock via a digital system.
- In some cases, a digital system may be utilised as a scheduling tool in managing the arrival, time allocation and departures for specific vehicle loading requirements.
